Cosmopolitan is one of the most powerful and most recognised brands in the world. It’s the biggest and most iconic young women’s media brand,Editor, Farrah Storr, ensures that every Cosmopolitan feature is made for the modern woman who wants to impress in all areas of her life.
 The finance of the product is needed to fund the magazine, fixed costs are used such as paying regular staffs wages and renting out offices needed. one variable cost used is paying for the celebrity on the front of the magazine, certain celebrities will have different fees meaning this cost will vary each month depending on who is on the magazine and where there picture will be taken as that may require travel cost due to how important the celebrity is. The finance for the magazine company comes from sales of the magazines in stores and downloads and also comes from adverts inside the magazines which makes them a large amount of money

Legal issues,Copyright is legal right that protects the use of your work once your idea has been physically expressed. The current copyright legislation in the UK is the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. One health and safety issue for a magazine may be ensuring staff are safe at all times, for example if there is a photoshoot for the front of the magazine its essential that staff are kept safe and there is very little risk of anything going wrong during the photoshoot which may take place in busy locations meaning its essential to keep everyone safe.
