Broadchurch The tense music in the clip creates drama and tension, there is lots of diegetic sound but the non diegetic music created tension and emotion. The diegetic sound makes it seem very realistic and makes the emotions seem very real. Synchronised sound is also used as the scene is very sad and the characters are very down, particularly the female detective who is extremely upset, the sad music also matches the scene and helps set the upsetting mood created in this scene. The sound adds to the verisimilitude as the tense music as the officer goes to see her husband creates tension and adds suspense to the scene. Ricky in the film bullet boy are represented as a stereotypical teenage black boy from a rough area, who has been in prison and has had a hard time growing up and has been caught up amongst lots of violence. Violence in the media Violence in the media can have a extremely negative effect on people who witness the violence through watching a scary film air playing a violent game, lots of problems can occur through watching or playing these violent games or films.  With video games becoming more and more realistic, people  need to be extremely cautious as to what our youth and young people are being exposed to on a daily basis.
