Extension task The hunger games In the film the female is presented as very strong and powerful it reinforces the stereotype that women are beginning to be shown as strong and independent i the media, Mise-en-scene helps to produce the representation by the appearance of the female in the movie poster and through out the film, she is dressed in very dark colours and walks with a bow and arrow with her showing she is very strong and prepared to fight and compete against othes, in the poster she is has flames behind her which once again shows jus how powerful and strong she is. the film hunger games catching fire (poster shown above) was released in 2013, the film reflects women actions from this time as in the media they are beginning to be shown as much more strong independent and powerful which is reenforced in the film as the female is certainly very independent and strong.

Movie Poster analysis In the movie poster for the film annabeelle the title is at the bottom because you read from top to bottom meaning you will remember it, the doll is a key part of the poster as it takes up the majority of the poster and is the focus point, the main two colours used are red and black. red has connotations of blood and death which suggests the film will be very dark and deep, the colour black also has very dark conotations and also suggests the film will be very sinister and evil in the film IT once again very dark colours are used for example red and black which both have very dark and deep connotations, red has connotations of blood and death and black is a very deep and dark colour which means the film very may well be very intense and sinister. the shadows in the poster also show how dark the film is going to be and just how intense it is going to be, the poster is very dark and deep and is extremely scary which is shown by many non verbal co...

In this music video the stereotype male gaze is used to draw in the male audience.Nikki Minaj is wearing minimal clothing to reinforce the stereotype of women being seen as objects by men.  In this music video lies the classic stereotypes of lil pump reinforces the classic stereotypes of a rapper by talking about clothes and money. In the video he also shows off a gun he owns.He also reinforces the lifestyle typically associated with a rapper. At the start of the music video Fergie uses a male to reinforce the stereo type male gaze as he is staring at barely clothed women which once again re enforces the stereotype that women are presented as objects in the media simply there for men to look at.

Representations The female character is initially presented as innocent and a young sweet bubbly girl who is simply in love however as the film progresses we learn this girl is seriously island has serious issues and is seriously in love with a man she barely knows, we learn this when she meets his in the toilet and learn the pair are not as close as we initially thought, and are simply neighbours who aren't very close. The narrative works very well to hide the way she is presented by only initially showing her side of the story and only showing the way she views things and only her side of the situations, when we do learn the other side of the story we learn how seriously ill she is when we see the other side of the story, the narrative also changes the lighting and songs used in the film to change the shift of the play from a very romantic film to a very deep and dark film The mise-en-scene reflects the change in the film by the change in colours and drastic change in the soun...

My advert follows the convention of having the logo in the bottom right corner as that is the last place where people look meaning they are more likely to remember the brand, i have also used very fresh and vibrant colours with these of orange and green as they have connotations of freshness and are very vibrant, the main message in the advert is just how fresh and good the product is and how healthy and positive the product is. i have communicated this through the use of vibrant and bright colours which show the positives as they have connotations of happiness and joy meaning the product has very positive connotations and is very good and fresh.

this magazine reinforces the stereotype of male gaze, this women is used to catch the attention of many male people, this women is presented as a object and is there for everyone to look at instead of the topic of the magazine, it immediately grabs the attention of the audience and can make much more people interested instead of just a few people  this image challenges the stereotype that women are presented as sex objects in the media as it shows women as housewives who stay at home and cook and clean, although this challenges the current stereotype of women in the media it reenforces the old stereotype that women did not work back in the early 1900s it shows that this is how women was previously presented in the media but are no longer shown in this was and are now presented as male gaze as the first magazine shows, this is a example of challenging the male gaze theory, the anchor in this image also shows the old stereotype of women in the media and shows that they was preivious...

The first advert suggests the product is very powerful and helpful, the cape shows how the product is very useful  and does lots of good just like a superhero, it shows how strong and how much energy the product gives. it gives the product a very positive representation and makes potential buyers believe the product is very good.            the second product is chewing gum and uses the colour blue which has connotations as been very fresh, its also very has very strong and powerful connotations, the leaf on the advert also suggests it is fresh and shows the product is fresh and minty, the bold font also gets peoples attention and makes the product stand out and shows its very powerful and strong
